Ø  Vision India Project

Vision Project is a complete development project, deals in all aspects of football (administration,

clubs, competitions & leagues, youth & grassroots, coaching, refereeing, marketing & media,

etc.) Project was implemented in four States Manipur, Delhi, Tamilnadu and Kerala (2005-2009)

 

Vision Project in Manipur was declared as one of the best executed projects in Asia by Asian

Football Confederation (AFC) in 2008.

 

Created & launched a School League involving 48 school teams (2006) in Delhi.

Successfully negotiated a Kit Sponsor Delhi & Manipur projects.

 

 

Ø  National Football Teams

  • India Men's National Team has won two titles -Nehru Cup in 2007 for the first time and the AFC Challenge Cup in 2008. (Qualified for AFC Asian Cup 2011 for the first after 1984).
  • India U16 youth team qualified for the AFC U16 Championship in Uzbekistan (October 2008).

            Created and managed number of grassroots and youth programme for the development of football

  • Planned and managed the India leg of the Yakult-Danone Nations Cup, an U12 championship for boys from clubs and academies (2008).
  • Played a key role in the conduct of Manchester United Premier Cup, an Under 15 National event for club/ academy since its inception in India i.e. 2006 till 2008 (property of NIKE and Manchester United)
  • Played a key role in the conduct of Premier Skills Project (the project of English Premier League) a coach education program in partnership with British Council, ESPN & AIFF (2007-08).
  • Created & Established grassroots Football Festival for Under-!3 & U14 age category (boys & girls). It was for the first time in the history of AIFF the festival concept was introduced in India in the year 2005 and the event is hit among grassroots players and officials.
  • Coordinated with National Scouts & Spotters for spotting talents from different age group national competitions

  • Established a long term player development strategy for the Academy. Laid down a talent scouting procedure & brought in structural change in the academy for holistic development of the players.
